Marketing Director

Our Client is a nationwide leading manufacturer for Gluten Free baked products.

We are looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Director to join our Client as a direct hire, and will lead their efforts to grow and develop e-Commerce channel sales. You will be responsible for end to end content management including the creation, tracking and optimization ensuring we deliver best-in-class online experiences for consumers and retailers.

About the Opportunity & Responsibilities/Activities include but are not limited to:

-Oversee making sure we are consistent with the set company model and theme, by overseeing all media content, and will provide digital content for the E-commerce team, strategize and plan different campaigns like trade shows, magazine, radio, campaigns, digital/non-digital marketing, and PR

-Understand and communicate our business model

-Identify short-term and long-term marketing goals. Discover and develop new marketing opportunities 

-Work with branding initiatives to create, develop and maintain a company theme and message

-Create and oversee marketing budget. Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects

-Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team

-Create, maintain and print all packaging design and information

-Create, maintain and update brochure and order inserts 

-Provide for the E-Commerce team all-digital content for email marketing, website posts and banners, social media posts etc.

-Follow closely the market trend to find new products and new marketing strategies.

-Organizing promotional events at trade shows and other venues, coordinating with our staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise

-Manage and build-out the internal process and database for collecting consumer qualitative research 

-Assist in the planning and execution of client/customer presentations/plans

-Manages the overall communications strategy for the assigned brands and products. 

-Lead cross-functional teams in terms of new products and project assignments

-Gather consumer, category, brand and competitive data

-Manage outside team members to include design, ad agency, printers and photographers

-Experience in planning, executing and communicating primary consumer, shopper, and market research 



Business Development Activities:

-Understands consumer and customer insights that can develop into ‘go to market’ plans (including sales/trade communication, selling strategy & materials.)

-Proactively identify whitespace opportunities as an input into the Business Development process 

-Support Manager in developing an annual plan to closely align the efforts of Marketing and Sales to generate optimal demand for the brand 

-Identifies new product and line extension opportunities and manages the process to research, test and bring the best to the marketplace

-Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategy
