A career in tech can be a tricky thing to navigate. But nothing is more frustrating than knowing where and how you want to contribute, and not being able to pass the interview. Our Client believes that all people deserve the opportunity to develop themselves as they move through their career.

We empower technical professionals to build the skills needed to effectively navigate and ultimately succeed in the hiring process at the world’s most competitive companies. As a Career Coach, you will leverage your expertise to guide students through this transition.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Teach classes related to Career Transitions, Professional Branding (Resume and LinkedIn), Behavioral Interviews, and Offer Negotiations
  • Conduct weekly office hours to support students through time-sensitive or difficult tasks
  • Support in their Offer Negotiation/ Decision-making process
  • Networking Strategy
  • Advising on Interview/ Recruiter Communication strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter and/or in an HR function within the tech industry
  • Degree in Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Business or other degree in the humanities.
  • Experience as a career or performance coach/ mentor
  • Available 10+ hours per week
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
