Job Description:
This is an opportunity to join this premier, dynamic and fast-growing team at a key inflection point! The Accounts Payable and Operational Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and employee expense reimbursement process for Clearlake’s management, GP and affiliated companies (~80 companies), and Clearlake’s funds and portfolio companies (~300 companies). Some of the specific tasks are as follows:
• Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and accounting team
• Responsible for reviewing vendor bills and wires (~700 vendors) in Bill.com and NetSuite for Clearlake’s management and affiliated companies, funds, and portfolio companies
• Responsible for reviewing employee expense reimbursements (currently 109 employees) and corporate card expenses in Concur, ensuring compliance with Clearlake’s Travel &

Expense Reimbursement Policy
• Responsible for cash management, including reviewing wires and initiating wire transfers
• Ensure the companies obligations are paid timely and oversee all payment transactions
• Ensure all bills are properly coded and allocated in accordance with the company’s accounting policies
• Monitor the AP inbox for urgent requests and respond timely
• Oversea the daily bank reconciliation process, ensuring manual vendor payments via wires and check refunds are booked daily
• Maintain general ledger functions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Responsible for preparing and reviewing the annual 1099 tax forms issued to vendors
• Take ownership of system implementations related to AP and expense allocation, ensuring adequate testing is performed and risks are mitigated before going live
• Collaborate with FPA and Corporate Accounting teams to close faster and provide better reporting over spend to management
• Mentor and train the Accounts Payable and Corporate Accounting teams to create efficiencies in the close process, automate and streamline processes
• Assist with other accounting functions and projects, as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required
• Fund or asset manager experience preferred, but not required
• Must have substantial AP system experience (Concur and Bill.com or other similar AP
systems), as well as 1099 filing experience
• Prior experience working with accounting software such as NetSuite
• Strong organizational skills with incredible attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with other departments, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to a fast growing and changing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Systems implementation experience is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant designation is a plus
