Accounting Manager, Distressed Debt

Job description

The Accounting Manager will help lead the Private Equity Fund at the Los Angeles or San Francisco offices by taking ownership in the maintenance of books for partnerships/accounts.

The firm is a global leader in distressed securities investments and credit investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting/audit that includes BigFour accounting and investment management experience
• Extensive experience with reconciliation and account analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting practices
• Ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA a plus.
